The US Department of Defense depends on its Information Assurance (IA) Workforce to protect vital information, information systems and information infrastructures. To ensure that the IA workforce has the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish this task, the DoD developed the 8570.1 directive.
The 8570.1 directive states that all DoD employees with privileged access to a DoD system - including military service personnel, defense contractors, civilian and foreign employees - must be certified on the concepts, principles and applications that will enhance the protection of the Department's data, information systems and networks.
Furthermore, the directive has an aggressive timetable that aims to have 100% of DOD Security Engineers and Security Analysts workforce fully certified within 6 months of assignment. Our CISSP evaluator will assist with reviewing, preparing for, and passing the certification within six (6) months.
CISSP EvaluatorTMsystematically reviews the Common Body of Knowledge that will be on the CISSP examination. The CISSP evaluator's content is arranged to correspond to the 8 domains of the certification examination. This enables reviewers to easily locate domain topics and focus. The domains covered are Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, and Software Development Security.
